Duration : 2 Months (Short-term)

The project aims to provide volunteers with an enriching opportunity to engage with a new culture and a spirit of solidarity. Volunteers will actively participate and play an important role in supporting PAUGED's activities. One of the primary volunteering activities of the project will be to support and collaborate with PASVAK within their meal distribution program. PASVAK delivers meals directly to the addresses of over 2000+ individuals every day. This collaborative effort aims to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing economic challenges in Denizli.

Through a diverse range of activities, participants will contribute to the improvement of local communities and the development of the region.

Volunteers will engage in varied activities, as indicated in the info pack:

• To assist in organizing and distributing food to those in need, contributing to the locals.

• To collaborate with local NGOs and charities to identify individuals or families in need of assistance.

• To facilitate speaking clubs and provide a platform for cultural exchange, allowing volunteers and locals to share their stories and experiences.

• To engage with local schools, colleges, and communities to promote and raise awareness about the benefits of EU funded projects.

• To create and manage a social media page or a blog for PAUGED to share the volunteering experience and its importance.

• To foster an inclusive environment that promotes diversity and unity within the community.

• To participate in Turkish language classes.

Volunteers Profile:

This opportunity is open to individuals aged 18-30 who are open-minded, motivated, and can communicate effectively in English. Volunteers will be selected in a fair way, no matter their ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or political opinion. The selection process will be done by EUROMED EVE TUNISIA as sending organization with the cooperation of the host organization  PAUGED.

Food & Transport

• Accommodation 100% covered

• Volunteers will be provided with 3 meals per day.

• Monthly pocket money of €120 will be provided.

• Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 275 euro*
