Final Evaluation Meeting in Rome: looking back on Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact
From 2 to 5 October 2026, Rome hosted the Final Evaluation Meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project “Generative AI – Youth Sector Challenges and Impact”.
As the project approaches its end, the partners from Italy, France, Belgium, Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan came together to look back at their shared journey. They reviewed what was achieved and exchanged lessons learned. They also reflected on the impact created in each partner country.
Over the course of the project, youth workers, young people, experts and organisations explored the opportunities and challenges that Generative AI brings to the youth sector. Together, they developed training, national and international hackathons, the AHAPP anti-hate-speech app and campaigns for safer, more inclusive digital spaces.
The meeting was not only about results. It was also a moment to recognise the cooperation built along the way, the knowledge shared across Europe and the Mediterranean, and the international community that grew around the project. The partners discussed how the project’s tools and approaches can keep supporting young people and youth workers, strengthen critical thinking and help tackle online hate speech.
A project may be coming to an end, but the conversations, connections and ideas it generated are only the beginning.
Thank you to Caleidoscopio, the project coordinator, to our Jordanian partner JYIF for hosting the meeting, and to all partners: AVEC France, Euromed EVE Tunisia, Euromed EVE Maroc and Euromed EVE Belgium.
