 Training Recap – Days 1 to 5 - PARIS FRANCE  

Day 1 – Introductions & Bonding

 Ice-breaking & fun bonding activities helped us connect and set the tone for the training.

Day 2 – Prototyping Kick-off

 Learned how to develop a prototype for an anti-hate speech app.

 Sessions on functionalities & user flow.

 Hands-on exercises: designing the first structure of our app.

Day 3 – Workflow & Design

 Finalized user workflow: requirements, app architecture & features.

 Voting session + written feedback.

 Split into 2 groups:

•  Group 1: researched API tools for AI-based hate speech detection.

•  Group 2: designed the app prototype in Figma after a workshop by Diana.

 Each group presented their progress.

Day 4 – Exploration & Celebration

 Morning: free time in Paris (Eiffel Tower, croissants, cafés ).

 Afternoon: worked on the 4th iteration & finalisation of our app.

 Night: magical party at Pont Alexandre III  with participants & local community – we sang, danced & celebrated together .

Day 5 – Testing & Event Prep

 Groups continued:

•  AI group: tested detection features with APIs/tools, ensuring accuracy.

•  UI/UX group: refined the prototype design & validated workflow.

 Prepared for the Dissemination Event:

• Defined objectives: share outcomes, raise awareness, showcase prototype.

• Prepared demo, visuals & key messages.

• Assigned roles for presentation.

 Next steps: finalize app concept & ensure smooth delivery.

 By the end of these 5 days, we built connections across countries , designed & tested an anti-hate speech app , and prepared to share it with the world .
