Strengthening Youth Organisations in the Southern Mediterranean: Completion of the Organizational Diagnostics Phase

Strengthening Youth Organisations in the Southern Mediterranean: Completion of the Organizational Diagnostics Phase We are pleased to share an important milestone within the GEN-YOUTH project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. GEN-YOUTH brings together organisations from across Italy, Spain, Poland, Tunisia, Jordan, Algeria, and Lebanon with the aim of strengthening youth organisations and improving employability services and inclusive education opportunities, particularly for vulnerable young people. The project has successfully completed the Organizational Capacity Diagnostics phase. Through a structured assessment led by OCAP experts, partner organisations conducted an in-depth analysis of their internal capacities, including governance, financial management, digital readiness, and employability support services. Each organisation received a tailored Organizational Diagnostics Matrix, identifying strengths and key areas for development. This process has enabled partners to reflect strategically and prepare for future growth. The next phase will focus on the development and implementation of OCAP Action Plans, transforming these insights into concrete strategies. GEN-YOUTH continues to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and long-term capacity building across regions, contributing to stronger youth ecosystems and better opportunities for young people.
